Yes, same events, such a different perspective. I found that a hard book to read--you really see why civil rights activists in the deep south had battle fatigue symptoms. I do speculate as to whether Strachan got some of her details from talking with actual volunteers, but Joan Trumpauer Mulholland sounds much more of an activist than Polly.]]></description>
