| Monica Nolan is a filmmaker and writer based in San Francisco. Her films include Ashley, 22, Chuckie or Ben-Hur in Five Minutes, World of Women, and Lesbians Who Date Men. She has worked as an editor at several Bay Area news stations, including KPIX, KRON, and KTVU. Her freelance editing credits include Bachelorette, 34, No Te Rajes, We Interrupt This Empire, Matzoh Maidels, By Hook or By Crook, and Grrlyshow. She has written two books, Lois Lenz, Lesbian Secretary (Kensington, 2007) and The Big Book of Lesbian Horse Stories (Kensington, 2002) and numerous articles on film and pop culture for Release Print and Bitch. She has taught classes in film at San Francisco State University and at the Film Arts Foundation. |
